Introducing Joshua Laine. After growing up in the Oakley and Brentwood area, Joshua has spent over 10 years in the solar power industry. Starting with installations, he quickly learned how solar power generation systems function. After succeeding in the fundamentals of installation, his career progressed rapidly, with him becoming a Quality Assurance Inspector for the company. During his inspections, making sure the company’s electrical systems were up to code, he recognized an urgent demand in the industry that needed to be fulfilled.
Upon completion of installation, it could take weeks for the city and utility to sign off and authorize starting up the solar power. Due to this delay homes were experiencing terrible issues related to the nesting of birds, as well as under-producing because of the amount of dirt and dust that had accumulated. This is when Joshua realized the solar industry was missing a crucial element of service and that he could make the renewable energy industry even better. Regular cleanings and a protectant were needed.
Joshua risked everything. He quit his inspector role and launched the solar panel cleaning and bird abatement company Solar Shine, LLC. Solar Shine has been in operation for 5 years and had exponential growth each year since its inception.
This up and coming entrepreneur Joshua Laine is a force to be reckoned with and Solar Shine will be expanding to a neighborhood near you soon.
