Fabio Hüther is a Swiss innovator, social entrepreneur, and environmental advocate whose work bridges cutting-edge water technology with community-driven empowerment. After overcoming bone cancer at the age of nine, he developed an early sense of purpose that shaped his path toward creating solutions with real human and ecological impact.
At fifteen, Fabio founded his first NGO to mobilize young people toward environmental responsibility. Years later, the loss of his African godchild to cholera transformed his mission into a global one, compelling him to confront the world’s water crisis with actionable innovation.
This led him to establish Evodrop AG, a company pioneering advanced filtration technologies with over 20 patented innovations. Evodrop’s solutions provide cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable water for households, agriculture, and businesses, redefining what modern water systems can achieve.
Parallel to this, Fabio founded the Umuntu Movement, inspired by the philosophy “I am, because we are.” Through its regenerative projects -clean water initiatives, large-scale reforestation, and ecological restoration – the Movement has positively impacted several tens of thousands of people while strengthening long-term community resilience.
Fabio’s work has earned international recognition, including an honorary doctorate for his contributions to sustainable water technology and regenerative agriculture, as well as multiple awards celebrating his leadership, innovation, and dedication to socio-ecological transformation.
