Dr Lora Banicevic is an author, multi-award-winning entrepreneur, and founder of Corner 32 Dental, a purpose-driven dental practice in Sydney, Australia.
Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina during a time of war, Lora emigrated to Australia at the age of three. Growing up watching her parents rebuild their lives from nothing instilled in her a deep appreciation for opportunity and a relentless drive to succeed. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney, later undertaking postgraduate studies in Digital Orthodontics.
Just two years after graduating, Lora co-founded a start-up dental practice. When the partnership dissolved unexpectedly, she took sole ownership and transformed Corner 32 Dental into a thriving clinic known for innovation, exceptional patient care, and a focus on emotional intelligence in healthcare.
Her passion for leadership, communication, and personal growth extends beyond dentistry. In 2025, she authored The Emotionally Intelligent Clinician, a practical, science-backed guide helping healthcare professionals lead with empathy, build trust, and create deeper connections with patients, teams, and themselves.
Today, Lora continues to expand her influence through speaking, writing, and coaching, empowering other health professionals to unlock their full potential. She is committed to creating a future in healthcare where compassionate leadership and personal fulfilment go hand in hand.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lora is a devoted wife and mother of two young daughters. She is driven by a desire to model resilience, integrity, and possibility – inspiring others to take bold action, embrace challenges, and stay true to what matters most.
