Edward Chin is the Founder and Managing Director of CZM Finance, a Brisbane-based firm delivering tailored financial solutions to businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors. Since launching his finance career in 2015, specialising in commercial finance from 2017, Edward has built a reputation for strategic, outcomes-driven lending solutions.
A Business Management graduate from the University of Queensland, Edward combines academic insight with practical expertise across commercial property lending, asset finance, working capital, residential loans for business owners, and bespoke business banking services. He is also highly experienced in funding business acquisitions and restructures, supporting clients through complex financial decisions.
Prior to founding CZM Finance, Edward co-founded Quartz Corporation in 2022, where he served as Director and Head of Finance. In 2025, he transitioned fully to CZM Finance to deepen his commitment to delivering personalised, relationship-based commercial finance.
Edward’s approach is built on long-term collaboration, with clients, brokers, and referral partners, underpinned by a commitment to innovation, financial education, and real impact.
Beyond business, Edward is active across several not-for-profit boards and advisory groups. He serves as Chairman of the Australia Lion & Dragon Dance Association, and holds roles with Hong Teck Sports Association, HKABA, Junior Chamber International, BNI, and Action Network. Through these platforms, he mentors emerging business leaders and supports community growth.
